A training as a cook in the Hotel Fulda Mitte:
There are 2 restaurants in Hotel Fulda Mitte.
Creating breakfast buffets, serving guests at the à la carte restaurant, planning and cooking menus and buffets, creating your own creations and working hand-in-hand with your restaurant colleagues are all part of your job.
As a cook you are also responsible for the calculation and organization of menu sequences and menus.
Warehousing, inventory management and hygiene standards will also be a learning field.
The guest contact is very important to us. Our cooks provide guest advice and are happy to be present at the buffet.
In a hotel kitchen you get to know many different areas.
Following a cook training professional fields in a kitchen could be for example:
Gardemanager (cook of the cold kitchen), Hors d`oeuvrier (appetizer cook), Grillardin / Grilleur (grill cook), Légumier (vegetable cook), Rôtisseur (roast cook), Saucier (Sauce cook), Entremetier (side cook) etc.
The stations for chef, chef or restaurant are extremely diverse.
